Why I made this

I didn't want to create a vest for people who were already fit. I wanted to create one for people who were still becoming.

I know what it's like to start over, and to be uncomfortable in your own body while you do it. Every vest I looked at was built for someone who was already there — heavy, military-looking, all or nothing. I wanted something that met a person where she was on the first day and still worked a year later.
The one-pound difference

Most vests make you choose a weight and live with it.

This one has twelve removable one-pound weights. Start at four pounds. Add one when you're ready. Never jump ten.

Weights added and removed from the channels: a 4 lb → 8 lb → 12 lb sequence.

"Today I need 4 pounds. Eventually, maybe 8, then 12." Not: "I hope I'm ready for a 20-pound vest."

The same way Johnna lost 160 pounds — one decision at a time.
Built for real life

Sleek enough to wear on a walk around the block.

Walking first, because that's where most people start and it's the use case the rest grows out of.

Designed for where you walk

Most walking happens before work or after dinner.

Which is to say: in the dark, on a sidewalk, next to traffic. The reflective detailing is there because the vest was designed by someone who actually walks, not by someone who pictured a gym floor.

What's in the box

Everything, the day it arrives.

Usable range is roughly 6 to 18.8 lb depending on how you load it.
How to start using it

Week one, specifically.

01

Start at 4 lbs

Four weights, on a twenty-minute walk you'd have taken anyway. That's the whole first week.

02

Add a pound

When the walk starts feeling easy — not when the calendar says so. One pound at a time.

03

Take it into workouts

Once walking feels comfortable, the same vest works for bodyweight and conditioning. The included guide covers it.

Both need real terms before launch. They sit next to the button on purpose: for a $79.99 purchase from an unfamiliar brand, this is where hesitation happens.
FAQ

Sizing, safety and the practical bits.

Yes — that's who it was designed for. Start at four pounds on a walk you'd already take. You don't need to be able to do anything else first.

Added weight changes the load on your joints, which is the point of it and also the reason to be sensible. If you have a back or knee condition, or you're pregnant or recently postpartum, check with your doctor before you start — and when you do, start at four pounds and add slowly. This isn't medical advice, and I'd rather say that plainly than bury a disclaimer.

Roughly 6 to 18.8 lb, depending on how many of the twelve one-pound weights you load and where you distribute them.
